Japanese Figure SkaterMao Asada is in a Big Slump

A Japanese figure skater Mao Asada is in a serious slump.
She is a really talented ice figure skater. She won The Grand Prix when she was 15
and also expected that she would win Torino Olympic But Olympic regulation dosen't
allow people under 15 yeas old enter competitions. Therefore she couldn't not enter
Torino Olympic.




Even after Torino Olympic she improved her skill and won The Grand Prix 2008
,defeating her rival Kim-Yuna from Korea. She will win Vancouｖer Olympic in 2010.

But her performance started unstable this year.
She entered 2 competitions in Russia and France so far.
But she was in the 2nd place in Russian and the fifth place in France.




You may say "she was in the second place in the competition in Russia!"
But she was in the palce many points behind her rival Kim-Yuna.

It was reported that she cried a lot after her FS performance in France.
She's been in a big slump. I hope she get over the slump and come back
then get a gold medal in Vancouver.
